It is not shown on the HomeBrew menu even!

I can give any further info and my nds without making any changes.

Basically, boot.elf is not included!

you sure you put it into the right folder and scrolled through in the homebrew channel? boot.elf files are not needed, its normally all about boot.dol files in wii homebrew. something not showing up is not an issue of the program but of the user not correctly placing the files into its right place. you literally just have to download the .zip from the "Releases" tab and extract it on your sd card.
