@BoneCrusher03

Thanks for opening this issue. So this white screen happens on any resolution you choose, not just 3440x1440? Can you post a screen shot of it? It might help me identify the issue. I can successfully run 3440x1440 with no graphical glitches:
3440x1440

Try downloading this zip, extract it to C:\Program Files (x86)\Maxis\The Sims\UIGraphics, and overwrite everything.

Does that solve your issue?

Still the same issue after trying UIGraphics. It happens on any resolution that is non native.

Try this Sims exe. Backup your existing exe and overwrite it with this one:

What does your Sims shortcut look like? I'm interested in the Shortcut tab and Compatibility tab.

Also, try this: https://simsvip.com/2018/02/09/play-sims-1-windows-10-widescreen-fix/
It's some else's fix. I'm wondering if the issues you're seeing is unrelated to a specific patch and more to do with your setup/hardware. Make sure to uninstall my patch before trying this.

Have you tried setting the Compatibility mode to Windows XP Service Pack 2?

That didnt change anything

I tried the fix you linked but that didnt work either.
Im using a Radeon RX 5700 XT and a Ryzen 7 3700X since you were asking about my hardware

Hmm I'm not sure what the issue is or how to approach it. We know that:

  • Anything not 800x600 or 1024x768 doesn't work
  • All patches produce have the same issue so it's not an issue specific to my patcher

Try:

  • Uninstalling your display drivers with DDU then install them again
  • Reinstalling The Sims Complete Collection

I tried that over the last couple of days but none of that worked either

Did you say you had a physical copy of the Complete Collection? I wonder if there is some incompatibility between the physical copy you have and the nocd/crack downloaded like version differences. If you still have the original Sims.exe, can you check the version of it by right clicking it > properties > details. The version I've seen on nocds/cracks is 1.9.1 or something like that.

Try installing this DirectDraw wrapper called DDrawCompat: https://github.com/narzoul/DDrawCompat/releases/tag/v0.3.1

It fixes graphical and performance issues, making The Sims 1 run at a full 60 FPS.
