FPP 8.5.1 running on Rasberry Pi 4

Describe the bug and Steps to reproduce:

  1. Go to FPP Backup
  2. Click on 'Download Configuration'
  3. See error message shown below:

This page isn’t working
192.168.2.10 is currently unable to handle this request.
HTTP ERROR 500

Expected behavior:
I expected a file dialogue window to open to allow me to choose a location on my computer to store the FPP backup configuration file.

Additional context:

The problem started in November with version 8.1 I think. There has been no changes to my home or light show network. The problem is the same weather using Mac or PC or various web browsers like Chrome, Safari, & Edge.

Cannot download the log because of the Period before 1904.zip
Also, all 3 of my Pi's with 8.5.1 work when downloading the backups

That was the way FPP generated the file name when I used the ZIP option inside File Manager. Here's a renamed version, see if this works. Thanks for looking into this.

I can't open the .ZIP file on my Mac. Its saying invalid file format. I'm guessing the FPP / FIle Manager / ZIP function is not creating a valid zip file. I'm going to see if I can download the log file individually then zip them on my Mac and upload here.

I downloaded the FPP logs individually and I was able to ZIP them on my Mac, but then this website won't let me upload the file. I'll try using my Windows PC and see if it works better.

So to summarize:

  • the ZIP file created by FPP / File Manager / ZIP uploads here ok, but then is not able to be downloaded and cannot be unzipped on my Mac
  • making a ZIP file on my Mac will unzip ok, but cannot be uploaded to this site

The ZIP function in FPP does not work from Windows 11 either and if I ZIP the logs manually on PC this site won't let me upload the file either, same issue as when compressing files on Mac.

I've uploaded to Google Drive and anyone with this URL can download the log files:
