How to restore specific bank backups

Something happened and after getting some Pokémon out of the banks, the saving process failed. Now they aren't either in the banks nor in the cartridge. I have multiple banks (1 per generation) and would love to restore that specific bank. I found the individual files with the help of FBI but couldn't find any tutorial or option on how to do it.
