config.txt - "File not found"

xxx:~/EvilPortal/EvilPortalGenerator/EvilPortalGeneratorEN/source$ sudo sh generate.sh : No such file: cannot open ../config.txt : not found: 4: generate.sh: 5: Bad substitution

• Changed shebang to "/usr/bin/bash"
• Rewrote EOL with nano
• Changed path ./../config.txt <-> ../config.txt
• sudo -s and regular user

Always the same result!
Found by cat etc.

Had the same issue, looks like the new line is in windows format.
Run dos2unix against the script and it will fix it: $ dos2unix generate.sh
