js-ipfs is under active development, at the time this writing Thicket used 0.28.2 and they have already released version 0.31.0.

A good set of metrics could help understand the benefits of upgrading the dependency.

  • Research a set of metrics that could be used
  • Upgrade to the latest vesion of js-ipfs
