Global function for familly model

I fly like many with very different machines: glider, plane, quad, etc....which makes at least 3 families of machines
each type of machine has functions that are found within the same family.
Is it possible to define global functions per type of machine?
for example the SA switch controls the mode used (Angle, Acro, horizon) etc.... is it possible then to say that the voice messages are globalized for the entire QUAD family, but only the QUAD family?
