Feature Request: Form axis from buttons

Hi,
I am in the process of interfacing real aircraft parts ( from Mirage III ) into DCS. I am currently interfacing a radar control stick.

The joystick movements ( Left to Right, Twist ) are outputted as 6 micro switches on each axis ( 3 for each direction ). It would be awesome if we could turn button inputs into an axis.

I would be happy to help develop this feature if someone could lead me to the right place.
