I think a necessary feature for users with editing rights is a log of newly created places. This could be just a map layer of places that are flagged as "not-verified". This allows editors to review new places to determine if they need further editing.

I am seeing a lot of places being incorrectly categorized as "overnight" when they should be "campground". I also see a lot of people create free campgrounds when they should be pay campgrounds, simply because the user failed to enter a price, or perhaps left the price field blank because they didn't remember how much they paid.

I have also seen a number of places for people's houses. It appears some people are using FreeRoam as a platform for a do-it-yourself Harvest Host or Boondocker's Welcome. They create a place for their home, and then offer it to anyone to come stay. I don't know if you consider this appropriate use of FreeRoam. So far I have only seen places offering free stay, but I could also imagine someone offering their driveway for a fee. I have also seen people create similar places where they don't mention anything about inviting others; they simply write something like, "This is my house". I've deleted those. Here is an example of someone inviting other motorcycle riders to stay overnight.... https://freeroam.app/overnight/me-and-my-royal-enfield

I could make many more corrections if I knew which places to look at.

When users create new places, these places should still be made viewable by other users, and still open for reviews and photos. Whenever an existing place is being edited, display a button labeled, "verify" if this place still has a "not verified" status, and display that only to users with editing credentials. Tapping the button changes the status to verified.

Note: if you do create this feature as I have described above, pre-populate all places as "verified" so that they don't all show up as a new place on the map.
