I looked at the spritesheets, and they don't seem very expensive on memory usage:
I'd argue that the Texture Atlas render type be saved for characters that are very expensive to render in terms of memory usage.
There's also characters that have it a lot worse than Week 4 Mom and Boyfriend. Pico Playable has 8 entirely different sprite sheets for Gameplay, Game Over, WeekEnd 1 mechanics, cursing, and burping.

Turn the Week 4 Character assets into Texture Atlases because of the flowing hair.

with the flowing hair it adds more Sprites than should be.
so texture atlas would fix that and hey you can make it smoother if yall want
