S25 Sprint 4- Fixes before deployment 2

Context

We want to clean up some bugs before we deploy this semester.

Requirements

Task 1- Admin Create Event Modal

Figma

• Recurring Event selection:

• Arrow is upside down.

• Title should be “Recurring Event”, not “Recurring”

• Should have an asterisk (red) next to the title to show it is required to select an option

• Description Textbox:

• tool bar should be right aligned (or you could make it similar to the About Page textbox. Please reach out to the designers before making a PR to ensure the design looks good)

• Each selection should appear as a toggle instead of a check box (refer to the Figma design)
• Headings for sections should be black (refer to the Figma design)
• For the bottom three toggles, make sure they appear on the same line (horizontally). Treat each button and its text as a box, and ensure all three boxes are aligned. If the screen is resized, wrap them and list them vertically. (If you’re unsure whether you’re implementing this correctly, please reach out to the designers.)

• Add default text for the event title and the address. Please match the Figma (if the filling text has default values and cannot be changed, please let the LT know);

• When an admin creates the date for an event, the date displayed on the volunteer profile doesn’t match. (Ex: if the admin sets the event date to March 8, it appears as March 7 on the volunteer profile.) However after editing the date, it updates correctly on the volunteer profile.

• Task Selection:

• Work on task display. If tasks are short/below a certain length, we can leave them in the same row. If tasks are long, can display in columns (reach out to designers if you are having trouble implementing this task)

• Need a bigger space between the checkbox and text, please refer to the Figma (if you are unsure about how big the space is supposed to be, please reach out to the designers)

• Add a required asterisk (red) to Event Task (if nps add some tasks for the event)

• Create Event Time Frame Bug:

• We do not want an admin to create an event where the end time is equal to the start time/ where the end time is earlier than the start time. Check this when they submit, and display the error message refer to the Figma deign here

Task 2- Admin Event Calendar

• The calendar disappears when the screen is resized to a smaller width. It should appear at the top of the screen with the events list below it.

Acceptance Criteria

• Check the box if you have completed all tasks under Task 1.
• Check the box if you have completed all tasks under Task 2.
