Pretty sure this is unintended, played a lot of runs, never seen mica, also some other ores such as soapstone, redstone, lapis

The Reality

Overworld Ores are Mixed with Twlight Ores

Your Proposal

I would look into the recent change of "nagastone" as it's the only thing that has block changes in the twlight (AFIK)

Was on nightly, beta 2 (2.7) version 705 To be specific.

as a sidenote, I am running no resource packs or any changes to any mods, it is a fresh, vanilla install.
