It looks like the allowed_origins field (Chrome's version of allowed_extensions) may be the problem. When I removed that field from ~/.mozilla/native-messaging-hosts/io.github.glitterware.passy_cli.json, the "No connector found!" issue went away.
I would have expected Firefox to just ignore the field, but maybe it treats unknown fields as an error.

I can't connect the web extension to the application.
step to reproduce :
1/ from a debian / librewolf I install the addon from the link https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/passy/
2/ install from the bundle https://github.com/GlitterWare/Passy/tree/v1.8.0?tab=readme-ov-file#bundle
3/ Start the app, create an account etc ...
4/ click on the passy browser icon and have error "No connector found please download and install the main passy application"
