When you hover over your GOODBIDS site primary buttons with your mouse, the button background automatically turns into the Contrast 3 color, and the button text becomes the Contrast color.
The opposite is true for the secondary buttons. They are automatically set to have a Contrast 3 background and Contrast text. The colors will invert on hover. This cannot be changed in the editor (to my knowledge).
This is not obvious, it requires some strategy to make sure all buttons look good, and there’s very little flexibility especially if one’s concerned with accessibility. It has been hard for me to follow the first batch of NP’s brand guidelines when creating their sites.
It would be great if there were a way to edit the colors of primary and secondary buttons as blocks in the editor (at the moment, only the primary buttons are editable).
An additional improvement would be using an effect for the buttons’ hover states that would work universally, regardless of the button colors. An idea could be a CSS brightness effect, for example.

Simple customization is something the deck promised NP partners.
