Create an end-to-end test of the hardware scaling workflow. This may need to be broken into multiple issues as seen fit.

As we discussed in our standup, we should focus on validating the following:

Extension functions display as expected (custom icons, graph popover, details dialog, reshaping form).
Control can proceed to the point of starting a reshaping operation which will trigger the authentication popup.
