A basic feature in image editing - multiple layers

Maybe adding this will be great

It's also a good idea to add: a transparency regulator for the selected color, the ability to select a line style (discontinuous, solid), a cropping tool, solve the problem with a memory leak, fix the scaling problem. But everything is in vain, the project is dead! Can you continue developing it in your branch?

My modification: https://github.com/smolnp/QPaint. Hopefully useful.

@smolnp I was working on the color stack, #154 . But as you asked for something, I'll try to finish up that quickly and start on this very soon.

If this project starts accepting/(rejecting) pull-requests again, that would be really nice.

And I saw your project, it's nice. And I guess you'll be notified when I work on this, as you're subscribed to this thread. If you want to discuss more about it, we can do here, or in some other platforms.

As far as I know Nikita Grishko has lost interest in this project. You can ask him to issue permissions to directly manage the project, or create your own fork to somehow revive the project. I did the modification for myself, I needed an easy program to create and edit screenshots. But with the release of Spectacle 20.12, my mod loses all meaning. On the other hand, EasyPaint will be useful for lxqt if you can solve the problem with "RAM usage #108" memory leak and image quality deterioration after scaling "Image lost while resizing #93" (the image is physically reduced and when it is enlarged again it just stretches the pixels not recovering).

If you plan to support this product, please let me know. I will help you transfer the functionality you need from my mod so that you can focus on new ideas.

@smolnp I mailed @Gr1N but till now didn't replied. I have already forked it here.

I think I'm willing to work on these project. So I think we better discuss how we can take further. If you don't want to put your GMail here, you can contact me at [email protected]. And we can have a detailed meeting.

Hi guys, unfortunately, I have no interest in this project anymore. I guess better for all of you to fork this project.

I might be nice if this program still would be maintained.
Astra linux is still using it:
