Checkboxes not working

using Gumby 2.6.3 and a json similar to:

"modules": ["retina", "validation", "checkbox"],

I used the example code on your docs for checkboxes and nothing happens. Even your http://gumbyframework.com/customize has unresponsive checkboxes on my end. They can be unchecked but you cannot recheck them.

Under Chrome 35.0.1916 here.

I have this trouble on Windows 8.1, FF 31 and 32

Both FF and Chrome on Windows 8.1 will not re-check the boxes
