  • Add support for specifying the change notes either directly, or also via file.
  • Change assembly resolution paths to also check the location where this tool is installed.
  • Fix relative paths specified on the command-line, so they are effective based on where the tool was launched from (previously they were based on the game installation folder).

KNOWN ISSUES:
Ingame script publishing is broken due to a game bug. Publishing in-game also doesn't work. Once Keen fixes that, SEWT should start working.
26 Nov 2020 0930 UTC: Keen removed steam_appid.txt from the game install, without this file, SEWT cannot use the workshop. Either create this file (with the contents 244850) or extract it from the updated zip in this attachment.

Pre-release
  • Add preliminary support for mod.io
  • Added new tags, plus a long existing, but previously unknown 'obsolete' tag.

NOTE: MOD.IO SUPPORT IS EXPERIMENTAL AND REQUIRES PUBLICTEST
It can only upload and download mods. It cannot update tags. Thumbnail editing is untested.
Authentication is required, this is done via email. SEWT does not ask for your account password!
If you do not want to use SEWT for authentication, you might be able to manually create an OAuth2 token from the mod.io website, however this is untested.
If so, add the following to SEWorkshopTool.exe.config, just below :

  <appSettings>
    <add key="auth-login" value="your mod.io email address" />
    <add key="auth-token" value="your mod.io token here" />
    <add key="auth-expires" value="unix timestamp expiration" />
  </appSettings>

To switch to mod.io, use the --modio option, in combination with all the other commands.
For example, to upload a large ship blueprint named "My First Ship":
SEWorkshopTool.exe --modio --upload --blueprints "My First Ship" --tags ship,large_grid

To Install in SE: Download SEWorkshopTool-0.7.3-modio.zip and extract to the SpaceEngineers\Bin64 directory.
Note: Install locations other than the above are neither tested nor supported.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a command-line (terminal) application. You cannot just double-click it to run it.
To run this, from the Bin64 folder, Shift+Right click in an empty area off to the side, then select Open Powershell window here. After the blue window appears, type the command with arguments you need, such as SEWorkshopTool --help and then press the ENTER key.
