All releases are mostly development versions. They can be used, but may contain confusing or unnecessary settings. Settings may be removed or reset on updates. Consider all releases as beta quality at best.

Changes since v11:

• add new Rounded keyboard style (Add Rounded style #260, thanks a lot to @BlackyHawky)
• replace pre-defined split layouts with more generic ability to split any keyboard layout (Split for all layouts #258)
  • may slightly change split layouts
• backup restore functionality (User dictionary backup #200)
• improve color picker (Expose more colors to users (only for user-defined themes) #239, Add "Default" button to the color picker #242)
• copy descriptions of hidden features from readme to the About section (Add descriptions of hidden features to the "About" section #227, Refined the hidden feature description #235)
• option for resizing bottom padding
• bug fixes (In some text fields, glide typing doesn't auto-space #229, Every even quotation leaves a leading space automatically #230, App crashes and does not open. #247, App crashed in Google sign in fields #243 and a bunch of duplicates)
• some internal re-work

Just tested backup and restore. Backup fails, doesn't matter which folder I choose. I get a 0byte file.

The word prediction does not work too. I don't get any predictions for the next word. It only works for the current word i type.

Rounded design is awesome ☝🏻
Maybe a colorful theme would be cool 🤔

I use English and German too. First it doesn't work but I simply deactivate and activate the word suggestion and now it works.

Btw. @Helium314 this is a really cool update.

Next word suggestions work only if the dictionary has them. The only built-in dictionary with next word suggestions is US English, which would explain why it works for English, but not for German.
You can try the experimental dictionaries created from sentence lists, next word suggestions should word for all main dictionaries.

Alternatively, if you have personalised suggestions enabled, the app will learn and create an internal dictionary with next word suggestions.

There might be missing suggestions when you update from v11, because I wasn't aware of changed and very aggressive default optimizations in the Android build system after an upgrade (gradle & Android gradle plugin).
They resulted in the internal dictionary having a non-default name, which is not used in versions before or after v11.

Some symbols are only available on key hints for example underscore. And backup also not working tried reinstalling still doesn't work, just getting backup error.

The _ key is also available when you long-press the - key in the symbol view.

About backup, it works fine on my phone (Huawei, Android 12)
You should specify which phone and Android version you're using.
