how to install from Github? #893

I haven't installed from github before. I couldn't find any installation instructions. I saw 3 apks. Which one do I use? |

You want the release apk, generally. The debug is for development purposes, and the nouserlib is more privacy restricted — can't load the glide typing library. You'll download the apk, when you try to install the system will ask you to enable to install from known source. |

You can also install from F-Droid an Obtainium app, which will allow you to install apps directly from their repositories – you will add in Obtainium an URL to HeliBoard GitHub and then you can install app (note, you can also set for an URL source, whether to include pre-releases – if you want to try new functions before an official release). Obtainium will also notify you about new releases available. |
