Straight to the issue:
We've got a large app (8GB on disk), multiple sheets, truechart-menubar buttons/triggers on most of them controlling default selections for each sheet, show/hiding columns in tables etc.
On the front end everything works fine, we can click on everything, use truechart object and everything works as designed and everything gets executed.
The problem comes in once you go into edit mode, select a truechart object, and go into one of the button state settings and just cancel out of the settings immediately. After this is done, data connections take 10min + to load, Fields in edit mode as well as insights generator either fail to load or take a very long time. This behaviour is then noticed on ALL other apps on that server, until services get restarted. This does not happen when the app is used normally like a user would, and then opening script editor, ONLY when going into state settings of one of the truechart objects.
The error we're seeing in console when opening developer tools while the wheel keeps spinning when loading data connections reads as follows:
Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 500 (Cannot establish a connection: Qlik Sense G3 Broker API) openapi:1
After this error pops up, 10 mins + after opening script editor, the data connections appear and we're able to reload data. But once script editor is closed and reopened, or opened on any other app on that server, the lag starts once more.
So again, once we go into edit mode of the truechart object on this particular app, the whole server is affected until the app gets dropped from server memory or services are restarted.
I should note that I've used this extension on a few other smaller apps and was not able to replicate this behaviour on them, even where the truechart objects had more complexly in them than in the big app. I'm still in the process of testing a few things, and will update this issue once I find something worth adding. If you guys know what's causing it, or have an idea of what to look for please give me a shout.
I want to thank you guys for this Swiss army knife of extensions. It's been a great asset to say the least and I hope we can get to the bottom of this issue.
