Updates to IATI's Standard Operating Procedures

One of the things that we included in the briefing at the first SSWG meeting was a note about the current SOPs that relate to upgrading the IATI Standard: 3.2.3, 4.4.2, Annex II and http://reference.iatistandard.org/203/upgrades/ all add up to the current formal governance foundation for the upgrade process.

Our conversations so far seem to indicate that we do want to update these at some point, but that it's not clear exactly what we would replace them with, and that we're certainly not intending to propose changes at the Members Assembly on the 27th of November this year.

It would be useful to hear any comments or ideas around the more formal aspects of the governance of the standard: do we want to try and get an SOP update through as quickly as we can? Or do we want to find a way to have some more space to develop our thinking in practical terms before we try to crystallise it into something formal?
