Dear all, we started converting some issues into discussions as previously communicated and we updated the README to link to the right section (issues vs discussions) depending on what you want to report. |

We are happy to announce the availability of the “GitHub Discussions” feature that we will start using as a collaborative communication forum for the community of the INSPIRE Reference Validator.
Discussions are for conversations that need to be transparent and accessible but do not need to be tracked on a project board and are not related to validation errors, unlike GitHub Issues.
Discussions give space for more collaborative conversations by connecting and giving a more centralized area to connect and find information.
For more information about the “GitHub Discussions” please visit the following page: https://resources.github.com/devops/process/planning/discussions/
All discussions must be created in a category, we will start using the default ones and we will open new ones if needed.
In the coming days, we will start to convert some issues into discussions according to the following correspondence between labels and discussion categories:
From now on important communications (e.g. availability of new features and releases, temporary unavailability of the validator) will be delivered through the “Announcements” discussion category, please make sure you have notifications turned on.
If you are “watching” the repository using the “All Activity” option you will receive also notifications for the discussions.
If you are “watching” the repository using the “Custom” option please make sure you have the “Discussions” option checked.
