As a support person I would like to discuss and document our process for updating third-party submodules e.g. GSL and the EPICS motor repo. Some preliminary discussion has been had on #6131

Acceptance Criteria

  • The process for updating these has been discussed
  • The process is documented
  • Any changes that need to be made to the current structure are made
