Feature Request: Provide infomodel version

Hello everyone,

looks like this issue is related to my problem. If not please tell me and I will open a new one.
I’d also like to read the version of the information model from the information model java library.

Something like this:

BaseConnector.class.getPackage().getImplementationVersion()

At the time writing this call returns null.

This version is defined in the MANIFEST.MF of the JAR. It’s possible to configure this in the maven-jar-plugin.

Maybe you can add the version there and maybe this also solves the issue of @tmberthold ?
