Rendering Speed Issue + Slow GUI Response

First off, I love this program! I've been looking for something like this for ages after getting sick of Red Giant/Maxon's stuff. This really does look absolutely amazing and the parameters you can tweak really look authentic. Kudos!

Issues:

• I rendered a 3 minute test video yesterday and it ended up taking 1.5 - 2 hrs on my PC (i7-12700k/Nvidia A4000 GPU/64gb RAM)
  If you could somehow improve those rendering speeds I would be so grateful!

• the GUI is a bit slow sometimes - using the sliders also feels imprecise. I'd love to be able to manually type in number values into each parameter too!

Such a wonderful program though! Absolutely love it.
