Installing Java

Hello,
I wanted to know if it's possible to use nlu on a 'non-cells' editor like VS Code.
I tried to, but I have this error :
Exception: Java gateway process exited before sending its port number

I looked into the colab file and I think I need to paste this

os.environ["JAVA_HOME"] = "/usr/lib/jvm/java-8-openjdk-amd64"
os.environ["PATH"] = os.environ["JAVA_HOME"] + "/bin:" + os.environ["PATH"]

but I don't have this file /usr/lib/jvm/java-8-openjdk-amd64

Could you please send it to me or on Github if it's the solution ?

yes NLU can run in any environment, can you share what operating system you are running?
You need to have Java8 installed on your machine and make sure its the default

If you open a shell you can confirm Java is properly installed with the following comand

 java -version

The output should be

openjdk version "1.8.0_312"
OpenJDK Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_312-8u312-b07-0ubuntu1~20.04-b07)
OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 25.312-b07, mixed mode)
