AGiXT Bounties #1389

First, I hold AGiXT tokens and am a big fan of your project. Lately, I’ve been working on an AI-related project, which has only deepened my appreciation for what you’re building. Second, apologies in advance—this is about money. But it’s just a minor point. The bounty program and hackathon are significant initiatives. However, I recommend distributing bounties via a vesting contract rather than immediate payments. Otherwise, the sudden influx of tokens could create selling pressure, which might not be ideal for the project’s long-term health. Since the tokens have already been minted, I hope you’ll consider this approach. As you know, the project's available capital fluctuates in value. Given that the token is currently trading at around 8% of its ATH, providing adequate compensation may become challenging. Even accounting for AGiXT’s volatility, I believe immediate payments should be avoided. Feel free to disregard my opinion if this comes across as too much concern. |

Running a Bounty program will certainly attract an influx of contributors who can contribute to open-source projects. However, in terms of the utility of the token, it's not enough. As Mr. Kim pointed out earlier, the immediate distribution of the token can generate selling pressure. Also, essentially there is no reason why people should buy $AGIXT. In the current tokenomics, where people can't really trigger buying of tokens, such as having to pay $AGIXT to use a product (this approach might be difficult in terms of open-source), Bounty won't get much momentum. There is no reason to buy, there is only a reason to sell, so the price falls, and the appeal of the Bounty also falls. |

I appreciate the feedback! We actually have more on token utility coming soon that goes in the other direction, one where we are making some purchases too. First, the idea to vest the payouts is great. I'll talk that over with the team and iron that out. One of the things that we have been talking about is to put a small percentage of software profits we get from any Software as a Service solution that we release (as long as the founding team are majority owners.) I will have more on this in a separate announcement soon. We are certainly open to suggestions! |

Hey everyone! We wanted to update a little about the "utility" of the token as we're getting closer to having these plans together. We are working on building a bounty program that will allow anyone to come say what new feature or integration they want to see in AGiXT and stake some coins on it getting completed.
This will create some healthy competition in the open source community and incentivize growing AGiXT's capabilities for everyone.
We can approach this a few ways, the current way we're approaching it is through GitHub issues or DMs to me in Discord to create a bounty. Our future plan for this once we know how to do it is to have an interface where people can either create a bounty or stake some of their coins on an existing bounty. We want to eventually expand on it to cover the open source development ecosystem and accept many coins for bounties. We will have automation set up to post on X about the bounties and update our discord as updates happen.
Currently, our team will act as "reviewers" where at least one person has to review each bounty to ensure it is complete and that the code is safe and works before issuing a reward to the developer the completed it. This applies to the members of the AGiXT team as well. We're all working on different pieces of the project and coming together to brainstorm where needed as we always do.
We're open to ideas and feedback as always, we just wanted to share our thoughts and what some of our team is cooking on for the crypto community.
We're still learning and building and hope to have more details in the near future. Thanks again for all of the support!
