Bug or feature? advice please

so when useing the procedural srbs and attaching a decoupler to hte bottom of them you dont get a shroud, wont let me place the decoupler over it and then create my own, apparntly fairings cant extend past a decoupler thats on top of them so that idea wont owrk, i could just blow the fairing up, but not sure how well this will work out in the long run. Is this inteneded or am i missing something?

well right after posting this i realized a solution, still reply if theres a nother way, but any way decouplero nhte bottom of hte engine, fairing attached to decoupler upside down, build fairing, rotate fairing inplace and lift in proper place seems to work fine.
