I don't know if the place is right to suggest. It should be nice to have them dIM can too communicate with each Bluetooth devices using Google Chrome (example Chromebook, PC).
This may actually be a pretty good idea for a cross-platform solution for using dIM.
I see two possibilities - one is using the Google Chrome plugin as a second manager where you pair your computer with your phone, and the phone actually handles sending / receiving messages.
Another possibility is to use the Google Chrome plugin as a stand-alone dIM client. This is only possible if one can access all broadcasted BT messages from the Chrome APIs or broadcast messages without pairing to a device beforehand.
Thanks for the suggestion! I will definitely keep it in mind.
Cross-platform solutions are always great. I'm also working on a offline chat app and I'm aiming to make it cross-compatible with as many devices as possible and also adding compatibility settings for users using dIM, Berkanan and ChatAround. This will stretch the possibilities of a Bluetooth P2P network to a whole new level. For that, we need some sort of common messaging protocol standard just like Matter in the smart home space.
