Tracks and global channels not visible because of selected view

I got confused when adding a new track from a global channel since the track did not show up in the track view. Turns out it was due to the view I had selected (by default) on the global channel browser. I think there should be a clearer way to communicate to the user that tracks (and global channels) are currently being filtered by the selected View.
