Universal Clipboard #52
Comments
You can always click on "Copy" button in the notification. I don't see how this is a problem, plus your current clipboard also changes a lot so I think it is better to not make the sync clip item as your default clipboard. |
Yes, the thing is the COPY button is not on the notification, i have to press Special Actions > Share Button then finally Copy Button. You know, this is just a little suggestion, as a clipboard manager, it's very nice to have auto sync and inserted across devices that connected, so that we can work seamlessly between devices. |
Yes, I'll add a copy button or a similar function. |
Okay. Waiting for the update... |
Ya maybe I'll revamp the notification system completely. That should also improve the productivity a lot. |
Thanks for your work on this @KaustubhPatange. I look forward to the productivity improvements coming to the notification, so thanks also for that. However, I wanted to also request the same auto sync feature, as long as the user can enable or disable it if they wish. But of course I don't want to be unreasonable - do you know if this would be a very burdensome or difficult feature to implement, test and maintain? |
As I'll add here @riotrah, I find a very limited amount of time from my work to focus on such side projects which is why developing features takes a huge amount of time not because it is complex or something but because of the lack of time I get during a day or weekend. I understand the requirement here & will try to get this feature out whenever I find time to work on it. |
Hello, i would love to see if XClipper has this feature, which is auto copy the copied text, and sync it across devices (connected devices). What i mean by that is any text copied to the clipboard will be synced between all your devices. It will also be automatically inserted into the clipboard of connected devices.
Let say we have 3 Devices, which is Device A (Cellphone), Device B (Tablet) and Device C (Windows PC or Laptop), so when Device A copy any text, then it will sync to Device B and C, and will automatically inserted into their clipboard, so when they hit PASTE, the text that appeared should be the text that copied from Device A. This is what i mean by Universal Clipboard. Hopefully you understand it.
