Should default modeling and sketching hotkeys be available when typing in the code pane?

UX question to chew on: should default modeling hotkeys like Extrude, Line, Sketch be defined with combos that would be safe to have available while the user is editing in the code pane? If so no hotkeys that would produce a character in the editor would be available, such as e, shift+e, alt+e, or alt+shift+e. Or should they be unavailable while writing code, so that shorter default hotkey sequences are available?

Seems like a fun, tradeoff-filled UX decision.

Some other considerations on this front are:

1. Our selection system is based on the code selection, so even if we do allow modeling/sketching hotkeys in the code pane the available hotkeys for a user will be influenced by where in their code their cursor is. That may not be easily understandable by users, although the visual selection changing with their cursor does reinforce that bidets too Al relationship.
2. Users will be able to edit their entire key map in the near future, so in some ways we need to account for the behavior when a user does set a keyboard shortcut to one that should normally produce a character, even if we set the defaults to exclude those combinations
