Why is the label color black when labeling？

Can you please provide a bit more info and/or a screenshot?

Perhaps you're referring to the text in the panel which is not shown in the color of the annotation on the image. We have an open feature request to have the label text color in the panel match the label text color of the annotation on the image. It has not been a high priority for us, and we invite contributions for the community. Perhaps you can make a pull request to make that change?
