Feature Request: Support for Shared objects

Hi, I was wondering if there's any chance you'd consider adding support for Shared objects. I know it might be outside the current scope, but it would be a fantastic addition, especially since there aren't any Python 3 libraries that support this right now.
Just thought I'd ask in case it's something you might consider.
