It hangs on the "Downloading Virus Share (File Signatures" and does not move anywhere else. I left it for half an hour, but there was no effect. Apparently, without the initial download, it does not detect anything, even very old viruses.

Hi, thanks for the report. Since this is just an engine, without the antivirus database it will not be able to detect anything. I'll work on moving the database to being a central download instead of being downloaded from community servers. This should resolve the downloading.

Please tell me, or maybe there is an instruction on how to do it manually? so maybe there is a clear sequence of actions that I can do and connect the database to it myself? And with links to databases. If possible, for complete beginners. I would like to check it myself and post it on my website with clear instructions for visitors.

I checked the code just now but currently there is no way to manually install the database, it's written in a way where it has to finish the download. I will fix this so it supports offline / manual updating.
