Comments
Thank you |
Hi,
As far as i remember, i followed this tutorial :
https://learn.adafruit.com/nokia-5110-3310-monochrome-lcd <https://learn.adafruit.com/nokia-5110-3310-monochrome-lcd>
But you find a bunch by asking to google : 3310 screen raspberry
And concerning the install on kali… I have no clue, since i used a debian to make airberry. And it was a long time ago…
You should adapta the script :) Please feel free to fork the project and keep me updated !

Okay, Thank you for the answer. I followed this tutorial: https://luma-lcd.readthedocs.io/en/latest/ So you advise me to use rather a standard debian for the airberry? I installed the kali-linux-full + kalipi-config metapackages and extended the micro sd. And then I installed the screen on Raspberry Pi 2 Here's the scrennshot: https://zupimages.net/viewer.php?id=20/03/aqqp.jpg And here is the screen in place after installation: https://zupimages.net/viewer.php?id=20/03/v0fv.jpg I do not understand. Thank you A + |
PS: wouldn't Raspbian be more suitable for airberry? |
Hi there,
I saw your screenshots… Maybe it’d work on Kali. Not sure…
But… can I advise you to run install.sh with bash ? i.e. : bash install.sh
(and I advise me to make install.sh check that :) )

Right,
You can git pull and try again.
But please bear in mind that I made this projet few years ago and never touched it since… Lot of things may have changed in packages versions and depencies…
Although I’m very glad of your interest for this project, I can’t be sure it will work on kali distribution, moreover on any recent distro...

Ok, being a beginner I am at an impasse. Can you tell me a distribution even old on which it could work? |
Hi,
I installed raspbian.
As I don’t have any rpi4, if you give me access to your rpi maybe I could help you?

Good evening, I did not install airberry on rpi4 but on rpi3. By SSH for remote connection? Thank you A + Anduril |
Hi,
Yep, ssh for remote connection. If your rpi is connected to your lan, if you know how to do it you can allow me access to it through your router/firewall/whatever…

Hello,
Would you have a tutorial to advise to install the screen and the airberry under kali-linux?
I tried to execute the file "install.sh" but I am full of error and I am not sure to have correctly installed the screen.
Can you help me ?
