Question on stride option

I have previously used the stride option to help stabilize clothing/backgrounds in longer video to video conversions, up to 4.

Recently, there are large comfy crashing errors when I set this up improperly. It works perfect 95% of the time,

The cause is using 20 frames, with a stride of 2. or 40 frames stride of 3. it's an auto full comfy crash when it hits the sampler.

I am assuming this should crash??, as stride 2 probably requires 2x the context length to work and 20 is not enough.

Thing is, it never used to crash like this. It just rendered before, perhaps improperly, but it never crashed like this.

Reproduce with context options length 16, stride 2, with a 20 frame cap on the video loader.

This happens anytime stride * context length is larger than the frame count of the video you are rendering.
Is this all intentional?
