Contact Sensor seems to be reporting as door

I've got a couple GoControl Window/Door sensors that are found by Homebrige just fine, but they seem to report as something like garage doors. If I force press to get details, I can "open" and "close" the switch, where as actual (Elgato) sensors I have merely state the current state.

Also, when I open the door to which the GoControl sensor is attached, HomeKit simply says "Opening...." kind of like it's waiting for a garage door to open.

All of this is kind of moot, though, since I can't use these GoControl sensors for any automation. They're simply not selectable as automation triggers.

Any ideas?
