Code of Conduct
Overview:
Our project community values the participation of every individual and wants everyone to have an enjoyable and fulfilling experience. Accordingly, all participants are expected to show respect and courtesy to others throughout their interactions with the project.
Expected Behavior:
- Be Respectful: Treat all individuals with kindness, empathy, and respect, regardless of their background, identity, or beliefs.
- Be Inclusive: Embrace diversity and be inclusive of all perspectives, experiences, and ideas.
- Be Collaborative: Work together effectively, value contributions from all team members, and communicate openly and honestly.
- Be Patient: Recognize that people have varying communication styles and be understanding of cultural differences.
- Be Professional: Refrain from any form of harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior. Critique ideas rather than individuals.
Unacceptable Behavior:
The following behaviors are considered unacceptable and will not be tolerated within our project community:
- Harassment: Any form of unwelcome, offensive, or discriminatory behavior or comments.
- Disruptive Behavior: Intentional disruption of discussions, events, or communications.
- Personal Attacks: Verbal or written attacks targeting an individual's character or abilities.
- Discrimination: Unfair or prejudicial treatment based on race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, nationality, disability, or other factors.
- Violence or Threats: Any form of physical, written, or verbal threats of violence.
Reporting Violations:
If you witness or experience behavior that violates this Code of Conduct, please report it to the project administrators at [contact email]. All reports will be kept confidential and will be reviewed and addressed promptly.
Consequences:
Participants who engage in behavior violating this Code of Conduct may be asked to leave the project community temporarily or permanently, depending on the severity of the violation, as determined by the project administrators.
Our Pledge:
