Should we be creating a new file or a new Folder for every Project?

The idea of creating a new file makes the entire project simple and reduces memory consumption space on our localhost(hosting machines).
However, the idea of creating folders for every project makes our lines of code really look 'mature' and we can easily create a file explorer relative to that project for the Front-end guys.
