Hi,

I was following the blog post Setting Up Highly Available Storage for Proxmox Using LINSTOR & the LINBIT GUI when I hit an issue with the GUI. When trying to create a new resource group, the "Add" button brings me to a 404 error page.

It tries to load the page "/ui/#!/storage-configuration/resource-groups/create" and I get this:

And here's everything I can see when trying to load the page in the controller logs (doing journalctl -u linstor-controller):

The only difference in my setup compared to the blog post is that I installed the GUI from apt instead of cloning it, but my version seem to match the latest tagged version created on the repo (1.8.8). I also don't see any recent change on the problematic page.

Here are the version of the softwares I'm using:

  • Linstor version 1.30.2
  • UI version 1.8.8
  • Proxmox 8.3.2

Thank you for raising this issue. I checked and found that it was indeed a bug introduced in version 1.8.7 three weeks ago. I have already fixed it, and a new version will be released shortly. You can update later using apt.
