I am enabling the Discussions feature to provide a place for discussing the Proteus project and for providing updates on its development.

Here's the first update:

I am currently working on version 1.0 of this project, which is meant to be a major update that will add lots of new processing operations. You can preview the current work in the v1_work branch. Once the V1 work is completed, it will get pushed back into the main branch.

One important change coming in V1 is that the sources of the command-line tool Cabeiro will become part of the Proteus repository. The Cabeiro repository is already deleted. If you were already using Cabeiro and need a new build, just use a build based on v1_work for now - I am trying to push new changes only after they've been tested, so the v1 code should be pretty stable.
