Ethics:

  1. The dataset gathering is... questionable.
  2. Fair use is very good actually. Even for people you don't like.
  3. Tools, not substitutes.
  4. Dumb STEM-supremacy.
  5. Style mimickry is iffy, but not at all new.

Challenges:

  1. Polish.
  2. Consistency / permanency.
  3. Artistic vision.
  4. Still needs skill!

Uses:

  1. Concept art.
  2. Reference boards.
  3. Filler content (slides, blog images).
  4. Anything you could use stock art for.
  5. Placeholders / dev art.
  6. Game jams.
