Plugins not found

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. build with cmake without debug flag

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
  The Plugins should show up in Help/Plugins...
  They are not loaded correctly.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
  hg identify -n -> 299+
  I'm using Linux with kernel 2.6.32-33-generic-pae

Please provide any additional information below.
  After building with debug flag everything works fine

I think CMake defaults to Release with debug info as configuration, which might 
cause this behaviour. Needs to be investigated further.
