Agreed. This is something I hope to work on once we've had some time to standardize ui elements and state tracking a bit. Ideally LT will work with the same sort of stack based context as emacs so that we can set up ctrl-g to trigger a generic sort of pop-active-state command instead of having to wire it individually into each plugin and modal. I expect this to be coming down the road a bit though, after we've finished implementing the UI redesign around flexbox or similar.
