After installation either globally or locally none of the deadfile commands works even version commands.

Can you confirm a few questions:

are you using Windows?
Does your command line have access to npm and global npm packages?
What is your terminal?
What is your node/npm versions?
Which version of deadfile are you using?

yarn version did not work for me, however npx one did 😃
