With Split_vec, is there a way to keep the energy bin information stored as 'v'? #117

The problem is, the energy bins for a variable can't have a size of "1" in the code currently.

And then if the spec bins are time varying, there isn't a good way to tell if the spec bins are varying across the columns or over time. I guess we could check the length of everything and find what matches up.
