Problem

Sometimes I forget how a particular issue ended, and I want to quickly check the last few pages. But if it's a bit of a longer comic, like 30-40 pages, the last few pages are not loaded and I have to open the entire comic and navigate to the end pages, which is time consuming, particularly when I quickly want to glance through the endings of multiple issues.

Suggestion

I think currently 25 pages are loaded, I don't know why this is the case and the entire comic is not loaded. Apps like Preview for macOS load all pages in a file, AFAIK.

If loading all pages is not a possibility, maybe something like, load the first 20 pages, skip the rest in the middle and load the last 5 pages of a comic book in the quick look preview. The numbers can be subject to change of course.

I'm open to discussions on other solutions to this problem.

The Quick Look extension is pretty much a port of the plug-in. Good news is that Quick Look extensions can use Interface Builder, so it can be a bit more powerful and controlled.
