Integrate this app on Umbrel node. #1
Comments
that's a great idea to have many people run their exchange, our goal is to improve this following the SOV hackathon and move it to mainnet. It still needs some work to make it stable enough. And then we can think about improving README to allow people to deploy it for themselves. Regarding umbrel, I'm personally not a big fan due to their license but of course since this is open source anyone can package it however they like. |
I am working on Packaging this app for Umbrel App Store, it should not be difficult to dockerize this application. |
The problem is that you will need a synced RSK node. Which is quite heavy. Not suitable for raspberries IMO. We are working on some kind of a solution once we have it running on mainnet. We are open for your suggestions |
Ah, interesting, I didn't think of that. A lot of people run Umbrel on heavier hardware now that they packaged it Open Source with good docker-compose scripts. |
Please discuss the solution here so people can help once you get it running on Mainnet stably. |
Hi,
I see that people from Umbrel is ok with the idea to integrate RSK on Umbrel.

Maybe is a good idea to see this lnsovbridge as an app on Umbrel, so people could host their own exchange service to others?
